All bookings are made with Twanga Touring Ltd. By booking a tour with Twanga Touring Ltd., the client agrees with this Terms & Conditions.
If not otherwise agreed with the client, the tour price is payable as follows:
A 20% deposit is required to secure a booking. This deposit forms part of the payment for the tour and shall be offset to the total amount charged to the client. Only after receipt of the deposit, the
booking is considered confirmed.
Clients booking within four (4) weeks of the start of the tour are required to pay the deposit immediately to secure the booking.
The outstanding balance of the tour price is payable in cash after arrival in Tanzania (before the start of the tour).
All bank charges are to be settled by the client. This includes transaction fees charged by our bank. Should bank charges have been deducted, we would have to invoice the client subsequently.
Day trips & short tours, which are not combined with other tours (safaris, trekkings etc.), may be paid on the date of the tour in cash.
For amendments of existing bookings done by the client (e.g. change of travel dates, accommodations, number of participants etc.) a handling fee of 50 USD per booking may be applied. If the booking amendment incurs additional costs (e.g. changes of already booked accommodations), the additional costs will be charged to the customer.
Cancellations of bookings must be sent to Twanga Touring Ltd. by email. Cancellations shall only be effective from the date of receipt of cancellation by email. In case of a booking cancellation, Twanga Touring Ltd. shall retain the full deposit.
Twanga Touring Ltd. reserves the right to cancel any tour at its sole and absolute discretion, without prior notification in instances where this is unavoidable. However, in that case Twanga Touring Ltd. agrees to refund all monies already paid by the client. This shall be Twanga Touring‘s sole responsibility to the client and no claim for any damages, howsoever arising, shall accrue against Twanga Touring.
At any time, all baggage and personal effects are at the client’s responsibility and Twanga Touring Ltd. does not accept any liability for any loss or damage of any personal effects, howsoever arising.
Clients are entitled to one bag of not more than 15 kg (backpack or soft bag – no hardtop suitcase) and a daypack. The Company reserves the right to refuse excess baggage.
The client accepts that all tours are of an adventurous nature and involve an element of personal risk. Twanga Touring Ltd. can not be held liable in any way for any injury, loss of life or damage to property, howsoever caused.
It is the client’s sole responsibility to ensure that passports, visas, health certificates, proof of vaccinations and any other documentation required are all in order for the visit of Tanzania. Twanga Touring Ltd. can not be held responsible for consequences, damages or other claims arising from this and is also not obliged to any reduction or refund of the tour price.
It is the sole responsibility of the customer to complete a travel insurance for Tanzania. Twanga Touring Ltd. can not be held liable for consequences, damages or other claims resulting from the missing conclusion of a travel insurance by the customer.
The decisions of the guide/driver on tour shall at all times be final and binding.The client must at all times comply with the laws, customs and foreign exchange regulations of Tanzania.
Twanga Touring Ltd. reserves the right to use any photographs and videos taken during tours, for marketing or any other advertising material. The client hereby gives consent to use such photographs / videos and authorises Twanga Touring Ltd. to retain copyright for these photographs and such material. If the client wish not to do so, he is obliged to inform us before his departure and we will respect his wish.
Unforeseen circumstances including but not limited to war, mechanical breakdowns, weather, riots and other unforeseen reasons beyond the control of the Company may cause delays or alterations to the tour. Twanga Touring Ltd. shall not be held liable in any way for any of these possible occurrences or any consequences, which may arise as a result of these.
The laws of Tanzania, govern these Terms & Conditions to the fullest extent allowable. Any disputes in connection with a tour or these Terms & Conditions must be initiated at the courts of Tanzania.
